The Exchange Club has partnered with The Civic Club in The Green Man Safety Program “Slow Down Folly”. Participation is easy. Each Green Safety Man is $35 and to purchase one email Mike at slowdownfolly@gmail.com. If you are unable to contribute financially, please reach out to volunteer. Installation dates will be April 12th and 26th. We will be meeting at the Hut Sat., April 12th and 26th from 10am-12noon to assemble and install.
April Meeting
Our April meeting we are planning to have Ruth Ann Hipps, Founder/CEO of Charleston Leaders, a Charleston Leader Initiative directed to high school sophomores to discover leadership potential within themselves. We plan to give them a $1,000 donation. So, plan to be there April 17th at 7pm. We are having Lasagna and Salad, so bring a dessert, side dish or beverage.
Our Veteran Supply Drive will be Saturday, May 17th from 11am-1pm at the Hut. Boxes will be at Follywood, City Hall and The Hut for early drop off. Collecting men’s clothing, toiletries, and non-perishable food.
We are offering college scholarships to full time residents and grandchildren of club members, regardless of where the grandchildren live. Applicants should be in high school or college with good academic standing. Deadline for application is June 30, 2025. Contact Mae Holmes at 843-588-9238 or maeholmes2@comcast.net to apply.
