The Exchange Club of Folly Beach is growing strong! Several new members have recently joined, including Pat Holsclaw, John Kohn, Cathryn DiPrima, and Don Sumner.

We had a great July with flags given to kids on Family Fun Night on July 2. Also, flags were displayed on the pier during the July 4th weekend.

We are collecting school supplies for needy children in the area. Drop boxes are at City Hall, the Library, and Planet Follywood. If you’d like to make a donation and have us shop for you, contact us below. The deadline is August 2.

Our August 15 meeting will be at 7:00 pm, so come join the fun and help the community! We will be giving away school scholarships at this meeting, so don’t miss it! Dinner will be served, so bring a side dish and a friend.

The MUSC Mammogram Unit will be located in the Folly Beach Library parking area Wednesday, October 2, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. If you are interested in scheduling a mammogram screening, call 843-792-0878 for an appointment or for more information.
