The Exchange Club’s September meeting will be Thursday, September 18th at 7pm with a $500 check to be given to HALOS a charity that supports kinship care for children, who might otherwise go into foster care. They give help to relatives or close family friends providing stability and giving children a feeling of identity and belonging.
American Flags will be going up for 9/11. Set up is 9am on 9/10 at the boat landing. Takedown is 9/12 at 9am.
Our membership drive will be Thursday, October 16th at 7pm at The Hut, 206 West Indian. All are welcome. We will be having a cookout, so bring a friend and a side dish.
The club will be cooking out Oct. 18th for Catholic Church picnic. 11a-3p at the City Park.
The club will be working with the Civic Club and the Anglers cooking for Halloween at the City Park on October 31st.
Be on the lookout for our Volley on Folly Pickleball Tournament Nov. 8&9 at the courts near the water tower. Setup is Friday, Nov. 7th at 4pm. Play will be Saturday and Sunday starting at 8am.
Volunteers will be needed at all of these events. Please donate your time to one or more of these events.
